The Class of 2017 TN Promise Student Application is now open! Students can apply online atwww.tnpromise.gov until November 1, 2016. If a student does not have TSAC student portal created, the student must first create the portal then complete the TN Promise application. The student will receive a confirmation email upon completion, which is one of the many reasons why it is important that the student provides a working email address on the application.

Hickman County Retired Teachers will award one Scholarship to a Senior who plans to enter the Field of education. Please complete this application and return it to Ms. Anglin by March 23.

Hickman County Historical Society Scholarship Applications are in the Guidance Office. They are due to Ms. Anglin by March 23.

Applications for the Goodlark Foundation Scholarship are available in the Guidance Office.

Seniors-please be sure to check your e-mail often. TN Achieves sends an email every Monday with important information regarding TN Promise.

 Scholarship opportunities
April 25- Balfour will deliver caps and gowns.
Last day to order a cap and gown is March 10th.  Orders after that day will not be delivered on April 25. If you have any questions see Ms. Robinson. 

 For a graduation order, a deposit of 50% of total amount due is required. Orders may also be made online at www.BalfourTN.com. If you have any questions, please contact Balfour online, call Balfour at 615-867-6345, or call the school at 931-670-1366.



TN Promise Community Service Opportunity-The Hickman Humane Society is hosting a benefit on Saturday, April 29th at the Fairfield Baptist Church community room.There will be a BBQ supper, music, and silent auction. Workers are needed 4pm-9pm. Contact 931-623-0717 or 729-2096 to sign up and for further information.

Seniors if you receive any Scholarship offer letters, please bring these to the Guidance office to Ms. Anglin or Mrs. Banks as soon as possible this week.

HOSA members, who have not received a HOSA pin, please come by Mrs. Redding’s room to pick one up. Also HOSA cords are in see Mrs. Redding.

Aloha!! FCCLA will host a Luau Thursday after school. Anyone interested in learning more about FCCLA is welcome to join us for the Luau. There will be food and door prizes.

If you borrowed a book from Mrs. Redding for either the CNA test or HOSA competition, please return it this week.

Any student who wants to run for Student Council President, Vice-President, or Secretary needs to complete a nomination form. See Miss Robinson during walking time for forms. All forms are due Friday.

Congratulations to the Lady Eagles Softball on their victory over Fairview with a score of 12-2. Last night was Senior Night honoring Katelyn Turner, Morgan Tucker, Hannah Rowe, Hallie Pewitt, and Hannah Sherard. They play today at 4 at Hickman Co. High School.

Congratulations to the Eagle Baseball team on their victory over Houston County with a score of 11-1. Last night was their Senior Night honoring Dillon Graves, Austin Jennette, Ethan Keller, Blane Littleton and Colton Warden.

Congratulations to the Eagle Soccer team on their Senior Night victory with a score of 2-1. They honored Seniors Myles Amos, Jack Christy, Joseph Gordon, Bailey Krebs, Hunter Larkin, Chris Tidwell, James Truman, Hunter Walker.

Any student wishing to take yearbook next year should pick up an application from Mrs. Polk’s room and return it by next Wednesday. Space is limited and just because you request the class does NOT mean you will be in the class. Applications are due by Wednesday, May 3rd.

Those who placed a deposit on a yearbook-please pay the remaining balance by May 10th.
