Below you will find information on all the different clubs, activities and events happening here at EHHS.
The Class of 2018 TN Promise Student Application is now open! Students can apply online atwww.tnpromise.gov until November 1, 2017. If a student does not have TSAC student portal created, the student must first create the portal then complete the TN Promise application. The student will receive a confirmation email upon completion, which is one of the many reasons why it is important that the student provides a working email address on the application.
Seniors-please be sure to check your e-mail often. TN Achieves sends an email every Monday with important information regarding TN Promise.
Seniors, it’s time to place graduation orders! Balfour will return to EHHS to take orders on Thursday, September 7th during lunch, 11:30 -1:00. For a graduation order, a down payment of 50% of the total order is required. If the order is less than $100.00, payment is required in full. On ordering day, Balfour will accept cash, checks (make out to Balfour), and credit/debit cards. This is the only date Balfour will accept personal checks. Centerville Woman’s Club is going to award a $250.00 Scholarship to High School Seniors to help pay for Graduation expenses. If you are interested, please complete the following application and return to the Guidance office to see Ms. Anglin by Friday, November 17th.
2018 Governor’s Schools provide eleven challenging and high-intensity programs for 10th and 11th grade students. Students interested in applying for a Governor’s Schools program should obtain the application from Ms. Anglin. It is very competitive. Applications must be postmarked no later than December 1st unless otherwise noted in the application.
Seniors: Your first TN Promise meeting is this Friday at 10:30 a.m. in the Auditorium. You will receive your TN Promise handbook and learn about the TN Promise Scholarship and requirements.
Spanish Club members planning to attend the Day of the Dead Festival on Saturday, October 28 need to submit permission slips this week to Mr. Angell. The club wants to order t-shirts so see Mr. Angell if you haven’t paid for yours yet.
Reward yourself for getting to class on time with the Spanish Club’s Eagle Cafe. This week, the Cafe will feature Carribean Crockpot delights. $4.00 will reserve your seat. Also, the Cafe is looking to book local talent to play during Freedom Fridays… See Mr. Angell for details.
Junior class is selling Beef Jerky Sticks see Mr. Mathis during walking time in room 275 to purchase your favorite flavor.
Seniors: If you want a Senior quote under your Graduation picture in the Yearbook, write it down with your name and take it to Mrs. Polk’s room 273. All quotes must be school appropriate and approved.

Juniors in Ms. Tharpe’s Eagle Time are to go to Mr. McNeil. Seniors in her SAILS Course will go to Ms. Tharpe’s class for walking time and Eagle Time. Be in her classroom by 1:10.
Senior Band members, Cheerleaders, and Senior Football players who plan to participate in the Ceremony tomorrow night must complete an information form today. Forms are in Miss Robinson’s room.
Seniors may pick up their free ticket for the Football game before school and during walking time. No free tickets will be at the gate.
All other students who plan to attend the game may purchase a student ticket for $3.00 before school and during walking time. See Ms. Robinson for tickets.
Any Junior or Senior wanting to help plan Prom should stay Thursday afternoon from 3:00-3:30 in room 106. If you can’t stay please see Mrs. Poth with your ideas for Prom.
There will be a FBLA meeting Friday during Eagle time in Ms. Morgan’s room.
Student Council members need to see Ms. Robinson after 1st period or during walking time today.
FCS will be having a meeting tomorrow during Eagle Time.
Freshman will meet during Eagle Time in the Auditorium on Friday.
Every year, EHHS sponsors a Trick or Treat night for Elementary and Intermediate students. We need candy donations from everyone, students, and staff. Candy will be collected from October 19th through October 26th. Our goal is to collect 7,000 ounces. Candy MUST be individually wrapped! Please bring all candy to Miss Robinson in room 218.
EHHS 2nd Annual Haunted Trail: Bring the whole family out to this Spooktacular event hosted by the Baseball team members sponsored by the High School Baseball Boosters! This year will be bigger and better than ever! Come out to support your team! All proceeds go toward the Baseball booster club to help the Boys during the Baseball season! You don’t want to miss this! October 20-21 and October 27-28 from 7-10p.m. Admission is $5.00. For questions please call Heather Jennette at 931-623-9088.
Miss Hideaway Benefit Pageant and Masquerade Ball at the Hideaway Farm 9347 Old Hwy. 46 Bon-Aqua, TN. November 4th. Registration fee is $25.00. Information forms are in the front office.
