TN PROMISE

The Class of 2018 TN Promise Student Application is now open! Students can apply online atwww.tnpromise.gov until November 1, 2017. If a student does not have TSAC student portal created, the student must first create the portal then complete the TN Promise application. The student will receive a confirmation email upon completion, which is one of the many reasons why it is important that the student provides a working email address on the application.

 

Seniors-please be sure to check your e-mail often. TN Achieves sends an email every Monday with important information regarding TN Promise.

Centerville Woman’s Club is going to award a  $250.00 Scholarship to High School Seniors to help pay for Graduation expenses. If you are interested, please complete the following application and return to the Guidance office to see Ms. Anglin by Friday, November 17th.

2018 STAN & THELMA PLUMLEE SCHOLARSHIP

Scholarship applicants MUST be associated with the manufactured or modular housing industry, to be considered. For example, living in a manufactured or modular home; or working in the manufactured or modular industry; or by having a close relative who works in the manufactured or modular industry. (As defined on the application.) Only completed applications received by March 9, 2018, will be considered by the Plumlee Scholarship Committee.  Students should see Ms. Anglin to get an application.

Christmas Food Drive: Brought to you by EHHS FCS, please turn all donations in by December 15. Freshman-Canned Vegetables, Sophomores-Instant Potatoes, Juniors-Canned Fruit and Cranberry Sauce, Seniors-Boxed Mac and Cheese. Please turn in all donations to Mrs. Emerson’s room. Room 228.

The Centerville Woman’s Club has Pecans for sale for $9.00 per bag. The funds raised by this sale results in Scholarships for both EHHS and HCHS students. See Mr. Mike Brown. Limited supply available. Thanks.

Come see the Show- Lip Sync. Tuesday, December 19th tickets are on sale for $2.00 in room 106. Price will go up to $3.00 next week. Support the Graduation Fund buy your ticket.

Are you ready for the Holidays? Need extra spending money? Join in the fun create the Ugliest Christmas T-Shirt and wear it to the Lip Sync. The ugliest T-Shirt will win a $20.00 prize.

Just a reminder that the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FASFA) needs to be completed by both you and your parents before January 15th, for you to stay active in the Tennessee Promise Program. Most of you have completed your portion and we need your parents to do their part to complete the process. Staff will be here Thursday evening until 7:00 to help your parents complete the form. Please urge them to come in and let’s get this done.

Students who went on the Titans Field Trip need to go by Ms. Morgan’s room and pick up their ticket. If you don’t want your ticket please stop in and let her know.

Student tickets for Monday night’s Basketball games against McEwen will be free. Students must be present in school Monday to pick up a ticket, and tickets will be handed only during walking time. Tickets will be in Miss Robinson’s room.
