The Class of 2017 TN Promise Student Application is now open! Students can apply online atwww.tnpromise.gov until November 1, 2016. If a student does not have TSAC student portal created, the student must first create the portal then complete the TN Promise application. The student will receive a confirmation email upon completion, which is one of the many reasons why it is important that the student provides a working email address on the application.

On Tuesday September 13th, seniors received information packets for ordering graduation items and juniors received information about class rings. Balfour will return to EHHS to take orders on Tuesday, September 20th during lunch. For a class ring order, a deposit of $60.00 is required. For a graduation order, a deposit of 50% of total amount due is required. Orders may also be made online at www.BalfourTN.com. If you have any questions, please contact Balfour online, call Balfour at 615-867-6345, or call the school at 931-670-1366.



Applications are available in the Guidance Office for the Gary Russell 3 Make Someone Smile Today Memorial Scholarship.  They are due 1-23-17. Please turn in completed applications to Ms. Anglin.

Seniors: You must apply to a College before requesting a transcript from the Guidance Office. Transcripts should be requested after you apply to a College.

There will be a meeting for anyone interested in playing Tennis this year. Come to the Library today, Friday 20th during Eagle Time. See Ms. Dressler in the Library for more information.

The Hickman Humane Society will be having an adoption event this Saturday, January 21, at the Petco in Dickson from 12:00-2:00. We will need volunteer help before and after the event as well, and any time donated can be counted as community service. Thank you in advance for your help.

Prom tickets may be purchased/picked up beginning Monday, January 23. Information is posted outside Miss Robinson’s room. Information sheets and forms are available in Miss Robinson’s room 218.

Need a Prom Dress, But can’t afford one? Let Becca’s Closet help! Becca’s Closet provides free Prom Dresses to students who cannot afford one and is located in Fairview, TN. E-mail your name, number, school, and dress size to gownsforgirls@comcast.net. You will be contacted to set up an appointment. High school identification will be required. Just a friendly reminder that outside food and drinks are not allowed in the school. If you bring your lunch it must be in an appropriate lunch box or bag and stored in your locker until lunch time. If you are getting food for athletics after school it can be dropped off in the office after 3:00. If you bring in an insulated cup or thermos it must be emptied when you enter the school.

Attention Seniors!!! The Yearbook Staff is asking for pictures of you between the ages of 2 to 5-ish. Please deliver to Mrs. Polk in room 273.

There are Entry Forms and information in the front office for the East Hickman Elementary School Sweetheart Pageant, February 11th.

This Saturday, the Lady Eagles and the Eagles Basketball teams will travel to Centerville to play the Lady Bulldogs and Bulldogs. All students in the County get in FREE!!!! The Girls game starts at 6 p.m. They are also recognizing the Lady Bulldogs former platers and coaches who were a part of the 1996-97 State Championship teams. Come out and support the Lady Eagles and Eagles and meet the former team and Coaches this Saturday.

FFA won in Public Speaking yesterday. Congratulations!!
