The Class of 2017 TN Promise Student Application is now open! Students can apply online atwww.tnpromise.gov until November 1, 2016. If a student does not have TSAC student portal created, the student must first create the portal then complete the TN Promise application. The student will receive a confirmation email upon completion, which is one of the many reasons why it is important that the student provides a working email address on the application.

Centerville Women’s Club Scholarship for Senior Expenses:  This scholarship will provide assistance with expenses related to senior year and graduation.  Deadline to apply is November 30.  See Ms. Anglin if you have questions or would like an application.

On Tuesday September 13th, seniors received information packets for ordering graduation items and juniors received information about class rings. Balfour will return to EHHS to take orders on Tuesday, September 20th during lunch. For a class ring order, a deposit of $60.00 is required. For a graduation order, a deposit of 50% of total amount due is required. Orders may also be made online at www.BalfourTN.com. If you have any questions, please contact Balfour online, call Balfour at 615-867-6345, or call the school at 931-670-1366.



Seniors: You must apply to a College before requesting a transcript from the Guidance Office. Transcripts should be requested after you apply to a College.

Staff and Faculty:TN Achieves needs mentors for TN Promise students. Please see Ms. Anglin for more information.

Any Senior who would like to retake the ACT in February needs to sign the form in the Guidance Office.

Ms. Anglin has WiFi codes for those students who have requested one. Please see her to get it.

The Centerville Woman’s Club is selling Pecans for $9.00 a bag just in time for Holiday baking. Proceeds fund Scholarships for HCHS and EHHS students. For ordering, contact Mike Brown. Thanks.

The Spanish Club will meet on Friday, December 9th. Anyone who hasn’t picked up their T-shirt can see Mr. Angell.

There will be a Christmas party for the Impact Center on Friday, December 16th at 5:00 p.m. at the Centerville United Methodist Church basement. Volunteers are needed on Wednesday, December 14th at 6:30 p.m to help set up for the event. Volunteers are also needed on the day of the event, Friday, December 16th at 4:00 p.m. until the event is complete. If you are interested in helping please contact Mrs. McCaleb at leanna.mccaleb@hickmank12.org or by calling 931-670-1366 ext. 231.

Just a friendly reminder that outside food and drinks are not allowed in the school. If you bring your lunch it must be in an appropriate lunch box or bag and stored in your locker until lunch time. If you are getting food for athletics after school it can be dropped off in the office after 3:00. If you bring in an insulated cup or thermos it must be emptied when you enter the school.

Any student interested in joining Winter Guard may sign up on the Music room door, 104. See Mr. Gunther if you have any questions. You don’t have to already be in Band or have experience to join.

Anyone interested in buying a Fellowship of Christian Students T-shirt needs to see Gabe Miller for the sign-up sheet.

Fellowship of Christian Students prayer at the pole, Wednesday, December 7th at 7:45. There will be a meeting Thursday, December 8th in Ms. Hays room, 228.

Thursday, December 8th will be our Christmas Dinner we will have Turkey or Ham, Cornbread dressing, Mashed Potatoes, Sweet Potatoes, Green Beans, Cranberry Sauce, Turkey Gravy, Fruit Salad, Cheescake assortment. Faculty price is $3.00.

There will be a Faculty meeting tomorrow in the Library at 3:20.

There will be an FBLA meeting Thursday, December 8th during Eagle Time in Ms. Morgan’s room 137.

Cheerleaders: Don’t forget there will be after school practice today and Thursday this week until 4:15.

Friday, our Eagles’ Basketball teams will host the Hickman County Bulldogs. It is also Ugly Christmas Sweater Day! So, wear those sweaters to school, pick up you $2.00 ticket, and wear those sweaters back to the game. Support our Eagles as they wrap up the Bulldogs!

Any student who is interested in playing Football next season, you must see coach Pence in room 138 to receive information about Off-Season Lifting and Conditioning. There will also be a meeting for those interested Friday during Eagle Time. Preparation for the 2017 season begins NOW!

The Senior Class will present: “It’s A Wonderful Life” on Thursday, December 8th and Sunday, December 11th at 7 p.m.
