BE IN THE ZONE-Turn off Your Phone Phase 2: School-Based Program is a Teen Motor Vehicle Safety Program that encourages teenagers to take the lessons they learned in the hospital and translate it into a year long distracted driving campaign in their school with a focus on cell phone use, especially texting while driving.

Trevecca University is offering free on-campus ACT prep workshops on a first-come, first-served basis.

From test simulation, help with overcoming test anxiety, to lessons on all four subject areas, ACT prep workshops are designed so you can succeed.
Workshop dates:
– Saturday, February 27
– Saturday, April 2
– Tuesday, April 5

WELCOME TO EAST HICKMAN HIGH SCHOOL

ACT Tutoring is available after school Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. See Ms. Worley or Mrs. Gammons for more information.

Any Junior or Senior interested in the Veterinary Summer Experience Program at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville must apply before March 12. Please see Mrs. Anglin for more information.

Seniors, please see Mrs. Anglin if you are interested in attending Bethel University. Applications for the Bethel University Hendrix Scholarship are due February 12.

The EHHS Junior/Senior Prom will be Saturday, April 23. Information is posted outside Miss Robinson’s room. Please read this information. Forms and tickets are available before school and between classes.

 

Star Teens are reminded to turn in their Youth Move application. Only those who attended yesterday’s meeting and return their application will recieve a free t-shirt. All applications are due by Tuesday, February 9th.

Ms. McCaleb’s Envirothon Team needs to meet in room 231 during Eagle Time.

Student Council members need to see Miss Robinson and sigh up for Valentine’s day deliveries.

Senior Basketball players and Band members pick up and return information forms for Senior night to Miss Robinson.

Senior night for Basketball is Tuesday, February 9th. Seniors who want to attend may pick up their free ticket beginning Monday, February 8th. Seniors must have a ticket to get in free.

Spanish Club officers meet with Mr. Angell today during Eagle Time.

Seniors taking the ACT tomorrow: Please remember to bring your photo ID. If you do not bring your photo ID you will not be admitted to the test. If you do not have a photo ID see Mrs. Anglin or Mrs. Turpin today so they can verify your identity. Pencils and calculators will be provided. Meet in the back parking lot at 6:45 tomorrow morning. The bus will leave at 7:00 a.m. If you were not at yesterday’s meeting please see Mrs. Anglin or Mrs. Turpin for permission form.
