We hope all of our students had a wonderful summer vacation, and we are thrilled to begin the 2017-2018 school year!  Welcome to our 3rd graders, and we welcome back our 4th and 5th graders!
  • Car riders–In the morning, please pull straight to Mrs. LaRue on the left end of the building with the round drive.  In the afternoons, you may line up in the bus lane in front of building until 3:00. If you arrive after 3:00, please pull down just like in the mornings.
  • Check your child’s planner each night.  This is a great tool for  parent/teacher communication.
  • Please encourage your child to READ 20 minutes each night!  At CIS, we are working to create a community of readers by promoting the importance of reading with children at least 20 minutes a day or more.
If you have questions regarding your child’s assignments, please email your child’s teacher. All school emails are as follows: firstname.lastname@hickmank12.org. Click HERE for a list of all CIS teachers.
